In all her dishes her vision which is distinctive and expresses an ache for the old. Scopa Italian Roots is a restaurant which was established by Lofaso in the year 2013. The restaurant was opened by her because of her American-born Italian heritage. Lofaso has received praise for her unique interpretation of Italian dishes. Customers describe Scopa as an indispensable local institution where Lofaso regularly serves food that is inviting authentic and undeniably satiating. Lofaso worked under culinary greats to learn their refined methods. She was also not afraid to make extraordinary decisions in order to follow her intuition. She quickly rose through the ranks of Wolfgang Puck's Spago, and then went on to work closely with celebrities in various Los Angeles kitchens. Lofaso along with Sal Aurora partnered in 2011 to launch Black Market Liquor Bar Studio City. Lofaso was able to settle at Black Market. The creative spirit of Lofaso will be facilitated with this partnership. Black Market doesn't have one distinct orientation. It's their goal.
