Mary McCormack was an American actress best known for her roles as the main character in TV shows like "Murder One", "The West Wing", "In Plain Sight" and Loaded. In addition to her film roles that she's appeared on, including "Private Parts", "Deep Impact", "True Crime" and 1408. McCormack was the daughter of the owner of an ice cream shop as well as a psychologist who worked in a clinic. The McCormack family does not have any relationship with entertainment. Following the separation of her parents, McCormack enrolled to Trinity College Hartford, Connecticut. In the year 1990, following having graduated from Wardlaw-Hartridge School with a BA, she graduated. The actress began her professional career when she was just 12 years old, and she appeared in the stage production of 'Amahl and The Night Visitors which was a Christmas-themed operetta. As she continued her career in the theatre, she eventually became a part of the film and television. McCormack has been regarded as one of Hollywood's best actors. Michael Morris (producer/director) is McCormack's husband. McCormack and Morris have three daughters.
