Sara Aliza Eisen (American television journalist) is currently working with CNBC. She serves as anchor of the channel's shows 'Squawk on the street and 'Closing Bell'. She's an Ohio native, but was not interested in currencies or markets during her time in college. She worked as an intern at ForexTV.com while she was a student at New York University. This was when she had her first exposure to business news. The Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University gave her a master's of broadcast journalism. The course was the duration of four months at Bloomberg TV, Hong Kong. She then returned to America and began her work in New York at Bloomberg. She became a TV anchor later. CNBC appointed her in December 2013 as reporter. Before landing the job at "Closing Bell the show, she was a co-anchor on 'Worldwide Exchange and Power Lunch'. Eisen is also co-anchoring "Squawk on the Street" since the year 2014. She is among the most revered business journalists in the world today. Since her arrival at CNBC her main attention has been on the global news for consumers.
